[Fantasia International Film Festival] 2025 KCC x Fantasia
synopsis
The Korean Cultural Centre Canada (KCC), in partnership with the 2025 Fantasia International Film Festival, will present outstanding Korean films and cultural experience programs.
[Korean Film Screenings]
At the 29th Fantasia International Film Festival, a variety of excellent Korean films across different genres will be showcased. Feature films such as <Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy>, <Hi-Five>, <Holy Night: Demon Hunters>, <Noise>, and <The Last Woman on Earth> are among the eight feature films to be screened. In addition, Fantasia’s short film program, ‘CineMapsosa’, will also be presented. A total of 8 feature films and 16 short films, including animated shorts, will be screened during the festival. ■ Hansik (Korean Cuisine) & Hanbok (Traditional Korean Attire) Boxes
●Date: July 16 (Wed) – August 3 (Sun), 2025
●Location: Auditorium des diplômés de la SGWU, Théâtre Hall (1455 boulevard de Maisonneuve O.)
●Details: The Hansik Box is an interactive touchscreen exhibit introducing Korean cuisine, where visitors can explore popular dishes and learn their recipes. The Hanbok Box offers a chance to try on traditional Korean clothing and hats, providing a glimpse into Korea’s cultural heritage.
■ Green Screen Photo Booth
●Dates: July 19 (Sat), July 20 (Sun), July 26 (Sat), July 27 (Sun), 2025
●Location: Auditorium des diplômés de la SGWU, Théâtre Hall (1455 boulevard de Maisonneuve O.)
●Details: Experience the photo booth featuring posters of Korean films screened at Fantasia and beautiful Korean landscapes as backgrounds.
