KCC hosts reception at Music & Beyond's Sarah Chang Opening Concert

On July 4, the Korean Cultural Centre was proud to be a part of the opening concert for Music & Beyond festival with Sarah Chang and Julio Elizalde. The KCC took part in the festivities by hosting an intermission and after-concert reception featuring 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics and cultural promotion booths.

As patron of the evening, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Canada, His Excellency Maengho Shin delivered a welcoming remarks congratulating Canadians on the 150th anniversary of Confederation, while highlighting the great occasion for Koreans and Canadians to become more familiar with our cultures through events such as the 'K-Connected' festivities hosted by the KCC. Ambassador Shin also mentioned that he was proud to be a part of Sarah Chang's concert, supporting world artists of Korean heritage.
