On the occasion of Canada's 150th anniversary, the Korean Cultural Centre invited K-Comedy team 'Ongals' to host non-verbal K-Comedy performance in June 16th, Friday at Shenkman Arts Centre Theatre. 

'Ongals' called themselves 'Perfordian' (Performer + Comedian) because they are comedian but also performers at the same time. For performance, instead of using languages, they used juggling, beatbox, and magic so everyone can enjoy their performance regardless gender, nationality and age. 

공연이 끝난 후에는 관객들이 옹알스와 사진을 찍을 수 있는 포토 존을 마련하였으며 대부분의 관객들은 사진을 찍기 위해 줄울 서고 사인을 요청하는 등 옹알스를 향한 뜨거운 관심을 보였습니다. 옹알스 멤버인 채경선씨는 좋은 공연장에서 호응 좋은 관객들을 대상으로 공연할 수 있어서 매우 영광스러운 시간이였다고 말하며 내년 북미 순회공연을 계획하고 있는데 다시 한 번 캐나다를 방문할 수 있었으면 좋겠다고 소감을 밝혔습니다. 

The Korean Cultural Centre also prepared reception after show. They arranged photo zone so people can take pictures with 'Onglas' and keep picture as their memory of the K-Comedy performance and the Korean Cultural Centre. One of audience said that she enjoyed show too much that she did not even recognized that 1 hour and 10 minutes was passed already. She also mentioned that she thinks she will start to love K-Comedy.

The Korean Cultural Centre wants to show appreciation to 'Ongals' and everyone who came to the event.
