[Art Workshop Series #5] Ordinary workshop (2023.09.16)
The Korean Cultural Centre is pleased to host <Ordinary workshop> run by 'Studio Ordinary' with Sean Roh and four artists with developmental disabilities as the fifth workshop of 'K-Culture: Art Workshop Series' program. Five artists will host individual workshops inspired by their works. Participants can join workshop(s) of their choice - drop-in style- from 11AM to 4PM on Sept.16th.

* About the workshop
- Sehwan Roh <Show me what you see> (30mins)
Participants will create a unique pinhole camera and share what they see through the hole.
- Minwoo Jung <Tiny Drawings> (30mins)
Participants will share and illustrate their unique memory through drawings.
- Younghun Hong <My Animal Book> (30mins)
Participants will choose an animal that represents their personality and make a paper animal mask.
- Jisu Song <Alphabet> (30mins)
Participants will paint figurative images inspired by the alphabet.
- Jeongbin Moon <Place> (30mins)
Through paintings, participants will share and express their favourite place or location with a story.
* You can selectively participate in workshops in drop-in style or participate in all workshops. There is no start or end time; drop-ins are from 11AM to 4PM.
* RSVP is not mandatory to participate. However, it is recommended to ensure availability.

* Being Studio x Ordinary Workshop collaborative Exhibition
In partnership with the Ordinary Studio and the Being Studio, the KCC is pleased to host a Korea-Canada collaborative exhibition from September 18 to September 22 at the KCC's Multipurpose Hall. The finished works from the 'Ordinary Workshop' and artworks of the Ordinary Studio and Being artists will be showcased.

* About the organization <Studio Ordinary>
'Studio Ordinary' started with artist Sean Roh in his studio in 2015, and it developed into an artist group in search of better methods to experience art. Studio Ordinary collaborates with artists with disabilities, focusing on overcoming obstacles in cohesive communication between people through the medium of art.
