2022 Korean Lunar New Year Special - Hanji Goebul Wind Chime Making Class
In celebration of the 2022 Seollal (Korean Lunar New Year), the Korean Cultural Centre is pleased to host a Korean traditional craft class, Hanji Goebul Wind Chime Making, with the KCC instructor Ms. Eunjung Cho.
Goebul is a triangular-shaped fruit that lives on an old lotus root. The three-pointed ears of Goebul have the meaning of repelling demons. Traditionally in Seollal, Korean ladies made Goebul accessories for their families to bring them blessings while repressing evil spirits throughout the year.
