To celebrate Hanbok Culture Week, the Korean Cultural Centre Canada is hosting a hands-on workshop where participants will use a mother-of-pearl craft kit inspired by traditional Korean lacquerware to create keyrings in the shape of a hanbok jeogori (traditional Korean jacket) and a gat (traditional Korean hat). During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to try on hanbok and create their own hanbok keyring using decorative mother-of-pearl pieces, experiencing firsthand the beauty of hanbok and traditional Korean craftsmanship.
No previous art or crafting experience is required. All materials will be provided.
