Korean Speech Contest

When: June 30, 2018, at 13:00-16:00

Where: The Korean Cultural Centre (150 Elgin #101, Ottawa, ON, K2P 1L4)

Who: Anyone whose first language is not Korean.

Topic: (Choose one from below)- Minimum 3 minutes

- “나를 심쿵하게 만든 한국의 색다른 문화 (Korean culture that makes my heart beat)"

- 자유 주제 (Free Topic)

 Length: Minimum 3 minutes, Maximum 5 minutes

If you wish to join, but do not want to compete, you can also participate by reading a poetry, dubbing (e.g. a movie scene) or acting with friends, etc. and still win the Participation Prize.

Hoping to encourage as many Korean language learners as possible to participate, this year, we have decided to select 4 different winners: 1st, 2nd, King Sejong Prize(effort), and Creativity Prize. This is to ensure that all prospective participants feel confident in their varying ability. With this in mind, we encourage you all not to hesitate to sign up!

*Please note that contest judges will determine and take the participants’ level into consideration when judging. Participants will be evaluated according to their appropriate level.
